About Kimiko

I'm a certified Japanese teacher from Kawasaki City in Japan. Before becoming a Japanese teacher, I worked for a global semiconductor company for 33 years and was secretary for senior officials in the Japanese cabinet, working on trade between Japan and other countries for 6 years.

Having worked with many people from other countries, I love to interact with people from abroad and share the beauty of Japan and the Japanese language with them.

My teaching style is relaxed and adaptable, based on your interests and goals - whether it is passing N5 - N1 JLPT Japanese exams, studying Japanese literature, or preparing for a job interview in Japan. I will provide class notes on Google Drive so I can track your progress and give you constructive feedback each lesson.
